Chief Enterprises is proud to announce that Marci Chartrand has been promoted to Vice President of Administration, effective immediately. Marci has been with Chief since October of 1995.
In her time with Chief she has had many roles. Among them is that she has run Chief’s Human Resources. A role that has grown by leaps and bounds since the company has grown, from a time when Chief had around five employees to today, when Chief has 35 employees. Human resources handles’ many complex, but important issues like payroll, 401K’s, and healthcare. With Marci managing these programs for Chief our employees know they are being handled with competence, experience, and skill.
Marci also manages Chief’s accounts payables and receivables with precision. Just as with the growth of our team, this role has rapidly expanded through the years as Chief has grown. Chief has over 300 customers and multiple suppliers across the globe so managing all that is required is a considerable task which is critical to the sustainability of the company. Dealing with all the parties involved requires a delicate combination of patience, toughness, and thoughtfulness. Three traits that many people cannot combine, Marci has consistently done in her time at Chief.
While Chief has grown over the years, it has always strived to do so in a responsible and thoughtful way to its employees and partners. Marci Chartrand is a major reason that Chief has maintained continuity throughout the years. As Vice President she will continue to be a leader in our growth in the years to come.
In making the announcement to the company at the Chief Christmas Party last week, Chief CEO Andrew Gabelman said, "Marci has excelled throughout her career in everything that we have asked her to do. She has been an invaluable asset to our company, an amazing person, and is part of the fabric of Chief’s character. Above all I am proud to work with her and to call her a dear friend.”
