Bosch work lamps are available in a wide range of types and have application potential in construction, agriculture, forestry, emergency, municipal, commercial, and marine markets. The work lamps consist of flood and spot lamps. Flood lamps have a broad beam ideal for uniform lighting of a large area. Spot lamps provide a narrow beam for lighting a more distant area. Both are compact and robust and offer several mounting options for stationary and mobile applications.
Bosch again prides itself with the highest quality product, testing in rigorous conditions to ensure a long service life. Bosch places emphasis on protection against the ingress of solid foreign material and water, classifying the work lights to ratings of IP54, IPX4k, and IPX4.
The newest work lamp from Bosch, the Pilot X, is the most compact xenon work lamp in its class. Xenon lighting has 250% more light output, a longer life rating of 4,000 hours, 1/3 the power consumption, and is closer to daylight than halogen. Offered in both 12 and 24 volts, the Pilot X has an internal ballast and is 25% more compact than its competitors.
For warning device applications, Chief offers two types of rotating beacons: RKLE 200 and RE 60. The RKLE 200 beacons are professionally recognized warning devices with the highest level of warning effect and interference suppression, while the smaller RE 60 beacons have a standard range, ease of use, and an atrractive price. Both have the option of permanent attachment or mobile use and are offered in several colors. Conveniently easy to install and operate, the rotating beacons from Bosch have a wear-free design and long service life. In addition, they are type-tested to ECE and DIN standards and are IP rated.
