Returns Policy
Customer agrees that once an order is placed on the website, the products cannot be cancelled or returned without Chief’s prior written authorization. If customer receives such authorization, the products must be sent freight prepaid to Chief, accompanied by the date of purchase and, if requested, a written statement describing the reason(s) for the return and the circumstances under which it arose. At Chief’s sole discretion, a restocking charge of twenty percent (20%) of the invoice value of the returned products may be made for returns other than warranty returns. Any customer request for refund shall be directed to Chief. Chief, in its sole discretion, shall determine if any refund shall be issued to customer. All Chief decisions on refunds, cancellations and returns are final.
Product returns must be made within thirty (30) days from date an order is placed. Customers should contact customerservice@chiefent.com for instructions. Chief does not take title to returned products until the item is received by Chief at the applicable return location. Proof of purchase is required in all cases. Product returns may be denied or made subject to restocking fees and other charges by Chief.
Shipping Policy
At Chief Enterprises LLC, we strive to ensure your order is processed and delivered efficiently. The following outlines our shipping procedures, estimated shipping timelines, cost policy, and drop-ship process.
1. Shipping Locations and Restrictions
Chief Enterprises currently ships orders within the United States and Canada.
Please note: certain products may have shipping restrictions due to size, material, or carrier limitations. Some items may not be eligible for shipment to specific regions or international destinations.

2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs displayed during checkout are estimates only and are based on the information provided at the time of purchase. Chief Enterprises reserves the right to adjust the final shipping cost to reflect actual shipping requirements, including but not limited to:
- Package size and weight
- Shipping carrier and method
- Special handling or packaging requirements
- Carrier rate adjustments
For many products, shipping rates are weight-based. Product weights listed on item detail pages are rounded up to the next full pound in accordance with carrier billing practices. Orders or items with a total shipping weight exceeding 150 pounds may be subject to shipment via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight services.
3. Order Processing and Shipping Dates
Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed after (US Central Time) will be processed on the next business day.
Processing Time: In-stock items are typically processed within one (1) business day after payment confirmation.
Estimated Shipping Date: Chief Enterprises will provide an estimated shipping date that reflects product availability, business hours, and carrier schedules to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
Transit Times: Carrier transit times vary depending on the carrier, destination, and shipping method selected.
Please note: that actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, product availability, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Chief Enterprises operates under FCA (Free Carrier) shipping terms, meaning responsibility and risk for the products transfer to the customer once the order has been handed over to the carrier at our facility.
Order processing may also be delayed for reasons such as:
- Payment authorization or capture issues (payment is only authorized at checkout and not captured until shipment)
- New customer account verification
- Account discrepancies
- Product backorders or supplier-related delays
4. Drop-Ship Items
Some products are shipped directly by the manufacturer or vendor (drop-ship) rather than from our own facility. Each product detail page includes shipping location and fulfillment information:
- The “Ship From Location” is listed in the product details near the top of the page.
- For drop-ship items, in the section Compliance & Shipping > Logistics Data > Drop Ship Item, you’ll find the manufacturer or vendor responsible for shipping.
For drop-ship items:
- Processing times may vary from warehouse-fulfilled orders but are typically initiated within one (1) business day of order confirmation.
- Shipping times and costs may differ based on the manufacturer’s shipping location and carrier arrangements.
- Delivery schedules are subject to the manufacturer’s fulfillment process and may not align with standard Chief Enterprises processing times.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can track your order by:
- Clicking the tracking link provided in your confirmation email, or
- Logging into your Chief Enterprises account, navigating to My Orders, and selecting your order to view shipment details.
Tracking updates are provided directly by the shipping carrier. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to appear after receiving your shipment confirmation.
